Invittle was founded on the ideal of inspiring socially engaging dinner expriences by connecting and exploring new people, new perspectives, and gaining memorable experiences. Founders Vision Behind Invittle

The idea of people from different backgrounds, cultures, age groups, and even world views coming together excites me. I believe the contrast can turbocharge creativity, empathy and progress. The forces that guide me are curiosity, connection and an open mind. Where did these traits come from? As a result of growing up in family with Lebanese Armenian roots and French-influenced teen-years, hospitality was a huge way of life and the dinner table was always the focal point of meeting interesting guests from all walks of life. School was great, but the dinner table was where I learned the most about the world. These experiences enabled me to grow and understand the big, diverse world through a lense of appreciation. Along the way I also learned to set a wow- worthy table!

Another pivotal point had a massive impact. The value I place on connection also stems from a loss of connection: I lost my brother in a sudden car accident at the age of 16. But it was human connection that pulled me through the hardest moments. Friends from all walks of life, socioeconomic backgrounds and different religions enriched my world and nourished my heart. The dinner table became a place where we created moments of joy and bonding.

Today, when I look out into the world, I see interactions, but very few real opportunities for authentic quality connection… The kind that breaks down walls and barriers. The kind that helps us be more curious about other people in a way that is fun, full of surprise and that might even make us better people!

I have set out to build a community that invites a diverse group of people, and in that community I would like for people to be able to experience making new friends through the love of  and  around the dinner table in any neighborhood, city and country  – all while sharing food, culture and adventure.
